Greenhouse Roof Styles

There are several types of rooftop greenhouses available. I am always asked what the difference is. Well, some will give you more room, and some will give you more room to hang plants, but the biggest difference is in appearance.

· Straight or curved roof – This is the same roof style as a traditional house or farmhouse. It’s a triangular shape if you look at it from the end. There is a simple mathematical way to calculate the length of the roof, say if you want to buy a shade cloth. You need to know the width of the greenhouse and the sidewall height and the tip height. You take the width of half of the greenhouse in inches and inches. You take the height of the tip and subtract the height of the wall.
