Thyroid Gland

The thyroid gland is a member of the glandular or endocrine system. The English medical term comes from Greek words: thyreos meaning “shield” and eidos meaning “form”.

The thyroid gland is located in the front of the neck. It is slightly more severe in women than in men and increases during pregnancy.

The thyroid gland secretes the hormone “thyroxine” directly into the bloodstream. Thyroxine is also known as “thyroid hormone”. Thyroxine is an iodine-containing compound. In fact, the thyroid gland itself is primarily composed of the mineral iodine and is therefore vital and necessary for optimal thyroid health and function.

Thyroid functions include: regulation of normal body growth in infancy and childhood, regulation of metabolism, regulation of body temperature, maintenance of skeletal maturation; and protein, fat, and carbohydrate regulation. These above functions depend on thyroxine or thyroid hormone.

Most Americans have an underactive, if not completely underactive, thyroid gland. This is especially true for American women. An underactive or underactive thyroid gland plays a major role in today’s American obesity epidemic, especially in women, because an underactive or underactive thyroid gland impairs metabolism and therefore body heat, which depends on burning fat that converts to sugar.

Thyroid pathologies include: hypothyroidism, goiter, thyroid cancer and thyroiditis. Iodine deficiency plays a major role in the development of these diseases or pathologies.

Many women suffering from thyroid problems turn to and seek medical care from doctors who prescribe them harmful pharmaceutical thyroid drugs with thyroid tracers coated in radiation to irradiate and kill the thyroid completely. In Western allopathic medicine, their motto is: if you can’t fix it, destroy it or remove it.

Since the thyroid gland in the body corresponds to the fifth chakra (throat chakra), an imbalance of the fifth chakra also plays a role in thyroid problems. A chakra is a “wheel” or “vortex” that cannot be seen with the physical eye and is entirely energy based. In total, there are seven main chakras at certain organs of the body, and the fifth chakra is located in the throat area. The color of the fifth chakra is light blue and blue, so any gemstone of that color (or even purple or violet) can help balance or correct imbalances in that particular chakra.

Blue colored stones include: blue lacesachate, angelite, chrysocolla, celestite, azurite and lapis lazuli. These stones can be placed directly on the thyroid gland for a few minutes to help correct imbalances in this chakra.

You know, it’s very odd in the sense that the thyroid responds to the color violet in addition to blue, and the main mineral of the thyroid gland is iodine, which is derived from the Greek word ioeides, which means “violet.”

Iodine is a bluish-black solid that turns into a violet vapor when heated. Thus, the thyroid gland reacts to blue and violet colors.

It’s amazing to me how a single mineral like iodine can cause the most terrible health problems. Did you know that cretinism (which includes drawing, mental retardation, a large tongue, and muscle incoordination) is a result of thyroid deficiency? Dwarfism (dwarfism) is a direct result of iodine deficiency in the mother’s body during pregnancy. So is mental retardation. Both conditions can be prevented with adequate iodine in the body.

And have you ever seen anyone with a goiter? It looks like a big tumor on the neck. Goitre is simply the result of a severe iodine deficiency and can be reversed with adequate iodine in the daily diet.

Excellent and natural sources of iodine are: white oak bark, black walnut shells, watercress, chickpeas and seaweeds, especially seaweeds that include Nori, Dulse, Kelp, Irish Moss, Iceland Moss, Bladder Moss, Spirulina, Chlorella, Hiziki, Arame, Wakame , Red Marine Algae and Blue Green Algae to name a few. In fact, seaweed is the healthiest and best food for humans because it provides us with all the nutrients we need for optimal health. You don’t need to eat fish as a source of iodine. Fish are rich in iodine because what do fish eat? Answer: Seaweed! And what is seaweed rich in? Answer: YOOD! So leave the fish alone and let them live and just do as the fish do and eat sea urchins to get your natural iodine.

Iodized salt as a source of iodine? I do not belive! Although iodized salt may have curbed the incidence of cretinism in the United States, it played a major role in the development of high blood pressure in that country. So cretinism was traded for high blood pressure.

Instead of using iodized salt labeled sodium chloride (white table salt), it is much better (and safer) to use sea salt (available at health food stores).

Magnets can also greatly help with thyroid problems by stimulating the thyroid gland. Just put a magnet on the thyroid gland for a few hours and the thyroid gland will revive. This method alone eliminates thyroiditis (inflammation of the thyroid gland).

If you are pregnant, it is vitally important that you get enough iodine.

Iodine is essential for anyone trying to lose weight (fat) naturally.

I made an iodine phosphate formula and a thyroid formula, both of which are rich in natural iodine and contain the best seaweeds and herbs that provide very high amounts of natural iodine. Seaweeds not only provide iodine, but they have a mucilaginous and thickening effect on the large intestine, which helps to cleanse the colon and help form stools, and very importantly, suppresses hunger (or appetite), which obese people need. to lose weight.

Finally, remember that (1) any thyroid condition can be reversed or treated with natural iodine and (2) synthetic pharmaceutical grade iodine is toxic and can be fatal.
