Understanding Constipation

If there is one health problem that all Americans have in common, it would undoubtedly have to be constipation. Yes, constipation! More than 90% of Americans are constipated. Constipation plays a major role in obesity, which is an epidemic in America today.

The English medical term “constipation” comes from the Latin word constipare, which means “to crowd together.” Mosby’s Medical Dictionary, 3rd ed., p. 298.

Constipation occurs when stool is “clumped up” in the colon. Medically, constipation is defined as difficulty passing stool or incomplete or infrequent hard stools. There are many reasons, both organic and functional. Organic causes include intestinal obstruction, diverticulitis, and tumors. Functional damage to the colon can occur in the elderly or bedridden (people) who do not respond to the urge to defecate. Ibid.

The thing that should stand out mentally in relation to constipation is “hard stool”. Question: What would make stool hard? Apparently, the stool should be soft. Soft is the opposite of hard. The opposite of hard stools is soft stools. As hard stool causes constipation, soft stool reverses constipation. Elementary math (common sense)!

Now what causes the stool to become hard or hardened? Answer: Diet in general, and the standard American diet in particular, which contains excess meat (carcasses/carcass), dairy products (cow rennet/pus/mucus), and starches (hards, glue). And not only meat, dairy and starches are a problem, cooking and processing them (besides fruits and vegetables) is the biggest problem because cooking (killing, changing) destroys enzymes (life), especially in plant foods such as fruits, vegetables, as seeds, nuts and grains.

It is the enzymatic activity of living (raw) foods that causes peristalsis. Peristalsis is the wave-like muscular contractions of the alimentary canal or other tubular structures, through which the contents are pushed forward towards the opening (rectum).

When you cook (kill, change) food, you kill enzymes with heat. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures above 118°. Boiled food is DEAD FOOD! It has no life (enzymes). If the colon depends on enzymes or enzymatic activity for peristalsis, how can you expect bowel movement from things that lack enzymes or enzymatic activity?

So cooked food not only contains enzymes but also nutrition (which is the real purpose of eating food). Cooked, processed and refined food makes the stool hard. Meat is by far the number one culprit in causing hard stools. And for my vegan and vegetarian brethren, cooked, processed non-meat substances make the stool hard. Of course, vegans and vegetarians are gentler on the digestive system than meat, but still, cooked is cooked, no matter what it is. Only cooking does the most harm (causes constipation).

The opposite of cooked food is raw food. In fact, raw foods are also cooked, but they are cooked by the sun (solar heat), not synthetic heat (stoves, microwaves, electric ovens, etc.). Raw foods are foods created by the sun and therefore provide energy to your body, unlike processed foods that make you tired and exhausted and weigh you down.

Raw fruits and vegetables provide natural fiber that is lacking in the typical American diet. Fiber is great for colon health and fighting constipation because fiber builds up in the colon and becomes mucous and cleans the walls of the colon, which is a very beneficial activity in the colon. It should be basic that raw fruits and vegetables are a natural remedy for constipation.

Meat, dairy products and starches (refined grains, ie pasta [paste], bread, spaghetti, cakes, cookies, donuts, etc.) sit in the large intestine and rot and rot. The worst thing to put in your colon is meat (cooked or raw), followed by dairy, refined grains and complex starches. It takes the body 96 hours, or four days, to partially digest meat, while it only takes 4 hours to digest fruits and vegetables. It is clear that the human body (after the gods of Eden were genetically modified and even after the fall of Man) was designed to consume fruits and vegetables. But most Americans eat meat (butchered meat) because of the taste (chemicals, salt, blood and urine) and texture of the meat, and for what is called protein (even though cooked meat contains 0% protein). We eat these days for taste, which is dependent on the eyes and addiction, not for nutritional purposes. I must admit that taste is not a criterion for health, but nutritional value. Americans are “tasting” themselves to death to satiate their corrupted and polluted taste buds.

I wouldn’t say that lack of drinking water plays a role in constipation. Water helps to soften stools and also keep the large intestine lubricated. Because water is electric, it also stimulates peristalsis like raw fruits and vegetables. Also, water and enzymes work together! Many Americans do not like to drink water. They drink unreasonably more soft drinks, beer, milk, and artificially flavored beverages than the water their bodies depend on for optimal health.

Constipation is characterized by hard, dry stools, straining during stool, painful bowel movements, flatulence, and hemorrhoids. And obviously, a protruding belly indicates constipation physically.

If you eat three times a day and do not defecate three times a day – you are constipated! If you sit on the toilet for several minutes and strain to pass a bowel movement, and only see pea-sized or pebble-sized stool at the bottom of the toilet after passing a bowel movement, you are constipated.

Many babies and toddlers today are unfortunately constipated. It breaks my heart to see small babies and children constipated because they don’t know how to communicate this feeling/problem to their parents, usually the mother. It is such an uncomfortable feeling for them. Chemically processed infant formulas and cereal products are anti-constipation in infants and children. Because of this sad fact, I have developed a very effective plant extract called Children & Infant’s Laxative that really gets the job done and brings relief to babies and toddlers. It is very gentle on the digestive system, yet very effective. However, you may go through a lot of diapers after giving your baby or toddler this formula (smile).

I advise parents (mainly mothers) not to give their child cereal products in the first two years of life. Grains are too hard for babies to digest. And my point is that no sane and loving parent should give their precious baby formula. Breastfeed as long as you can and then make your own milk from water, seeds/nuts/oats/fruit (banana, coconut), maple syrup (grade B or C) and Irish Moss or Iceland Moss or some other seaweed because seaweed is a complete food containing 100 % minerals, vitamins, trace elements and 60-70% bioprotein and is also very rich in oxygen.

And nowadays, pregnancy and constipation go hand in hand, but it is not natural for a pregnant woman to be constipated. The two main causes of pregnancy-related constipation are a poor diet and the consumption of pharmaceutical-grade iron tablets or pills. I’m currently working on a booklet/article (and I’m taking my sweet time) called The Perfect Pregnancy, based on my ex-wife’s first pregnancy experience with our daughter Layla and my herbal prenatal regimen.

Covers birthing positions, home birth, legal issues, diet and nutrition, constipation, exercise (breathing/stretching/yoga), aromatherapy, eclampsia (toxicity), headache prevention, sciatica prevention with chiropractic care, classical music therapy, massage and reflexology, prayer and meditation, and affirmations (for a safe birth and a healthy baby) and the booklet also covers infertility and impotence, plus comprehensive exercises and techniques using specific sexual positions, gemstones and elixirs, magnetic pads, essential oils, oriental oils. mystical/spiritual music and prayer and meditation to conceive a star or star child (god or goddess) upon physical arrival at the fourth density or dimensional level.

Moving on,

Constipation can be reversed or eliminated by changing or altering your diet by eliminating or reducing meat, dairy products and cooked starches and by eating more raw fruits and vegetables and drinking more water. Movement (physical exercise) can and does help as well.

Professional colon procedures and/or enemas (in your own home) can also help eradicate constipation.

Plum juice and prune juice are ideal for fighting constipation. If your colon is constipated, it’s the equivalent of your sink being clogged/stopped. When your sink is clogged, you call a plumber. A plumber unclogs a drain just like prune juice unclogs your colon. In the word “plumber” we find the word “plum”. Here is the wisdom!

And so far, the best help and remedy for constipation is herbal medicine. Catharsis and laxative herbs go a long way in eradicating constipation. Herbs such as Senna (Leaves/Pods), Cascara Sagrada, Aloe Vera Resin, Rhubarb, Mandrake, Bilwa, Glucomannan, Bibitaki, Sea Buckthorn and Jalap Root stimulate and improve peristalsis. Senna is a very powerful African herb that significantly unclogs the colon and relieves constipation. In fact, the pharmaceutical grade Ex Lax laxative now contains Senna.

In addition to the above herbs, fibrous and mucilaginous herbs such as psyllium husks, pamita, fennel, guar gum, acacia gum, oats, Irish moss, slippery elm bark and kelp help relieve constipation by constantly collecting and sweeping the walls. colon. Irish moss is a very valuable herb (sea weed, ocean grass) as it aids in stool formation. And unlike pharmaceutical grade laxatives, you can’t become addicted to using the herb as a laxative or laxative.

As for Psyllium Husks, I don’t recommend taking Psyllium Husk on its own as many people get congested from taking too much of it. I had this experience in the late 1990s. Psyllium has a profound bulking effect and can build up too much in the large intestine, causing constipation for hours. Therefore, I recommend taking Psylium Husk with seaweed (ie Irish Moss, Bladder Moss) and a laxative herb (ie Senna, Cascara Sagrada, Rhubarb).

DHERBS offers four wonderful and powerful formulas for the colon to relieve or prevent constipation – Bowel Mover, Colon Conditioner, Sen-Fen and Intestinal Janitor.

Bowel Mover is ideal for chronic constipation. It is cathartic (a powerful laxative). Colon condition is laxative. It also helps with constipation, but is not as powerful as the Bowel Mover. It is primarily a maintenance formula that stimulates peristalsis, keeps the colon clean and brings out large, bulky stools (log disruptors). It is also safe to take during pregnancy to relieve or prevent constipation. Sen-Fen is intended for immediate relief of constipation. It also brings out bulky stools, and lots of them too. Sen-Fen is combined with Fennel Seed and Psyllium Husk to prevent or balance Senna’s natural astringent effect. Senna is so powerful that it even gets a dead bowel moving. This experiment has been tested and validated. Intestinal Manager is a fiber formula that provides natural fiber. As it contains bulk forming herbs, it bulks up and keeps the colon walls clean.

Constipation is 100% reversible/curable, and there are many natural remedies and tools to overcome America’s constipation epidemic.
